About iDC
Established in 1994, the Industry Development Committee is a statutory organisation established to collect and administer the expenditure of compulsory levies. Committee members are appointed by the Victorian Minister for Agriculture in accordance with the Victorian Agriculture Industry Development Act 1990, and serve a four year term. The iDC was initiated to assist the development of the Murray Darling and Swan Hill wine regions that accounts for 20% of Australia’s winegrape production.

The Murray Valley Wine Grape Industry Development Committee is constituted under the Victorian Agricultural Industry Development Act 1990 and the Murray Valley Wine Grape Industry Development (Extra Territorial) Order 2020.
